These Sauvignon Blanc grapes were discovered in cool-climate growing regions of California. The various vineyards and growing areas are expressed through the bold flavors, together creating a balanced, complex and harmonious wine. The blend is produced in a family-owned winery. Grapes are harvested during cooler night and morning hours to highlight the crisp citrus flavors. After crushing, the must is fermented at cool temperatures, around 60°F, in stainless steel tanks.

Winemaker Notes: All grapes used in this blend were harvested at night during the coolest part of the day when the skins are most firm. The grapes were then gently pressed early in the morning. The resulting juice was taken to tank, settled until clear, and transferred off the solids into a separate tank to begin a long, cool fermentation. After fermentation, the wine rested on its lees in 100% Stainless. After six months, the wines were blended and bottled. Tasting Notes: A deliciously dry, crisp Pinot Gris. Fresh aromas of lemon zest, pear, and stone fruit, followed by peach and green apple flavors. A sturdy acid backbone with lovely mineral notes makes this easy to enjoy on its own or with any seafood, veggie, or light pasta dish.

Grape: Chenin Ground: Clay Limestone Color: bright lemony yellow Aromas: A fruity foreground composed of: mango, pineapple, gooseberry and grapefruit while a floral side expresses in the background: acacia, boxwood and lilac, on a background of honey. Flavors: Beautiful fruity creaminess confirming a ripe peach, coupled with pineapple punctuated by a citrus finish with a cinnamon side. Nice length in the mouth.
